Basalt cylinders with a thickness of 50 mm of large diameters (from 159 mm to 273 mm) and a thickness of 30 mm - for the boiler room were used for the air ducts and ventilation system in the new residential complex Metropole, Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya str., 91-93.
 

• The use of basalt cylinders reduces the amount of heat loss, reduces noise arising from the passage of air flow and provides protection from burns during physical contact with pipes.

Basalt wool cylinders prevent fires inside the air ducts and provide additional fire protection.
