Plastic sand trap

The sand trap is one of the important elements of the drainage system. It is used to protect storm sewers from clogging with sand and small debris. It is installed in a line of channels and connects to them from any end side.

The principle of operation of the sand catcher is based on gravity: the flow rate of incoming wastewater is reduced to such that the suspended particles contained in them begin to settle to the bottom of the separator.

Plastic sand traps have a basket with high walls and special slits designed to delay leaves, branches and other large debris.

Sand traps are equipped with a grid, depending on the features of a particular drainage system, the place of its installation and operation.

Options for completing the sand catcher:
1. 100 h419.

• it is equipped with a plastic "Wave" grid (load class A)
• it is equipped with a cast-iron slotted grate (load class C).

2. 100 h435.

• it is equipped with a grid made of reinforced composite plastic MEDIUM (load class B).

3. 100 h415.

• it is equipped with a cast-iron slotted grate and sides with hooks (load class E).
